For a destination wedding photographer La Bastide de Marie in Provence is an absolute dream venue and I am fortunate to return to this beautiful place year after year. I am still thrilled each time I get invited to photograph a couple's wedding there. It's such a captivating place.

Picture the countryside of Provence - beautiful French villages sitting on hill tops overlooking lavender fields and cherry orchards. A curvy road leading you to a gate flanked by cypress trees. And right here, at that gate you arrive at another world.

La Bastide de Marie really is that magical! And it is run by wonderful people. I have photographed many unforgettable weddings there and when Marie whose family owns this charming boutique hotel asked me to photograph her wedding my heart skipped a beat. 

This is the place she grew up in and seeing her and her loved ones enjoying themselves for 3 days, celebrating life, love and family was amazing to document. Children twirling, lovers kissing, friends dancing. Exactly the kind of moments I love to capture. Very thankful for this experience. Thank you Marie!
